ROAD TRIP TO GEORGIA

On May 4th, my beautiful, sweet mother went to be with Jesus. I miss her so much already-and its hard to believe she is really gone. I am happy to know that she is no longer in any pain, tired, or worried. That’s the good thing, but we all miss her so much, and just were not ready to let her go. Her funeral is coming up, and the hubby & I are taking a trip back home for it, and to spend time with my family.

I won’t be blogging for the week, so if my blog looks like it has come to a stand-still, you’ll know why. I’ll try to update it maybe a little while I am away.

Garnier BB Cream [a review]

Hey guys! I wanted to share with you my review of a new product by Garnier. Garnier BB Cream. In case you haven’t heard of BB Cream, here is the run down. Garnier’s BB Cream is like a moisturizer, primer, foundation, concealer, all in one product! It makes your skin look smooth, fresh, moisturized and hides those little imperfections. I was one of the lucky ones to be sent this awesome product from BzzAgent, and was really excited to try it.

I really like it! Actually, more than I thought I would. I was a bit skeptical about this “all-in-one” product at first…but then I tried it. It goes on really smooth. It’s very creamy, and moisturizes very well. My face tends to be more on the “dry” side, so I use a moisturizer before this, just to let you know. Even without it, this products still does a good job at moisturizing. As for coverage, it’s good! It makes my skin look more even tone, and it really does hide little imperfections. Now, it’s not a miracle cream. If it were, I would have NO wrinkles AT ALL…lol! It does do a good job concealing the very small ones. The deeper wrinkles…well, they are still there just as I expected. :wink:

I wanted to show photos, but I forgot to get a before shot. I’ll have to do so, and come back & update this post! :mrgreen:

Overall, it is a really good product. I haven’t tried other BB Creams, but am curious about them. I may try a few others just for comparison. I will say though, I would rather use this than have to do primer, foundation, concealer, etc. I plan on using this, maybe trying a few others, but am sure I will stick with a BB cream as my go to every day product.

Our Easter

I am so late posting this…I feel like I am behind on lots…LOL! On Good Friday we went to a friend’s church downtown for a short service. They always do a Good Friday service, and it was great! Jadyn was really into the singing. She lifted her hands up and swayed. She also danced around her chair, and tried to sing, even though she didn’t really know the words. It was adorable!

My girls looked so pretty in their Easter dresses, and of course they LOVE dressing up! At church, there was no “children’s church” that day, so they sat with us during the whole service. They sat really well, too. I just wanna say thanks to whoever in the church came up with “busy bags”. They have them in the entrance to keep kids busy (and hopefully quiet) during church service. I know the concept isn’t new, but it is much appreciated…lol! :-)

It was a great weekend, celebrating the resurrection of Christ our Savior! Although very sad what he had to endure on the cross, we are most thankful to him. Because of Jesus, we are forgiven, and we CAN have everlasting life!
