Day to Day Life

How did Summer go by so fast? I mean, it really flew by this year! I have to say though, I am excited for fall. Cool crisp air, pumpkins, leaves, and all of the wonderful things that come with my favorite season-Autumn!

School has started & Jacey is really enjoying it. She is making lots of new friends, and having new experiences….like riding the school bus for one! We took her to school on her very 1st day-but after that she has wanted to ride the bus. She wasn’t afraid at all, just excited to be on a school bus! I, on the other hand was freaking out on the inside, but am getting used to the idea…lol!

Jadyn misses her big sister during the day-but I really think she enjoys having her mama all to herself! We spend our time reading, coloring & drawing, and doing all sorts of fun things together.

September also brings a Birthday in our house! My hubby’s! Jace will be 38 tomorrow (September 3rd), so wish him a Happy Birthday, if you will, over at his blog!

Oh yeah-and I can’t forget that last night we signed up Jacey in the Awana Club at church. She is going to love it! She’s very excited about going. Her first meeting is next Wednesday!

I know Jacey is probably getting tired of me taking pics..LOL..but I can’t help it. She is just so cute-and such a big girl now!
I look at these pics and realize she is getting so grown up, so tall, a school-goer now! Wow!

Wow, the day has come! My little girl is now a big girl! She started Kindergarten this morning, and she was so excited. She was eager & ready to go!
I am excited for her, but at the same time, sad that that my baby girl is growing up so fast.

This morning, we took her to school, and I will pick her up after school. She has expressed interest in riding the bus, so maybe we’ll start letting her. The bus stop is pretty much right outside of our house. I’m a little nervous about it, but I realize that I need to let go just a teensy bit.

It was a beautiful day–a little windy-but temperature-wise, it was great! A great day to spend a little time at the zoo!

I didn’t plan on my girls (somewhat) matching, but they did!

They always have a great time at the zoo. They love to see the animals and they also love to run around (and burn off some of that energy!) Hehe!

I think this photo is so cute & says a lot about our cat, Frosty.

He is a house cat and never goes outside–except for when we let him out on our deck (occasionally). He usually doesn’t stay out there for long, because he’s very nervous about the outdoor sounds…and usually runs back inside after a bit…LOL!

Jadyn & Frosty are buddies, so if she’s standing on the deck-then he is more likely to go outside.
He stays very close to her, it’s so cute!
