Well, finally the guy came over yesterday for us to look at the samples of siding for our house. I don’t think I posted this before, but we have a HUGE fading problem with the siding on our house. Our house is only 2 years old. When we moved in, the previous owners replaced a bit of siding on the house that warped-because they had their grill too close to it. Well, when it was replaced, there was a big difference in shading. You could REALLY tell. The house is still under warranty, because it’s basically brand new…so we gave them a call. Someone came out and looked at our house, then took 2 samples of the siding. One sample from the front, and one sample from the back. About a week later, they called and said that there was a definite problem. Anyways, to make a long story short….they are replacing the siding on our entire house. They say that their formula has changed when making it, and there will be no more fading problems. *yay* We are so excited! I’m so glad that this is something that’s not gonna come out of pocket! $$$$ LOL!

Also, this Monday coming up…Carpet World is coming out to install the carpet in our family room and 4th bedroom. We are so excited about this, and can hardly wait! I think we are going to go ahead and move our big furniture from up in the living room, down to the family room (where it belongs) after it’s installed. We’ll still have to get the wood trim for the room, and finish off the fireplace, but the room will be totally usable!! *smile*
