Today’s News

Well, I made it to my doctor appointment today, and all is well & good. I’m still at 2 centimeters dilated and 90% effaced. I’ve gained 2 lbs from last week, but the doctor said it’s just fluid build-up. She wants to see me again on Monday (in 5 days), and just in case, she has scheduled an induction on Friday, March 21st. She thinks I’ll go before then, but just in case I don’t, it will be scheduled, so I don’t go over 41 weeks. As far as the induction goes, if I have to be inducted, she thinks all she’ll need to do is break my water, and that will get things moving…without having to use drugs to get it going.
Anyways, I will hopefully go into labor before the induction, preferably very soon…lol! I don’t want to wait over a week…lol! I’m ready now. *tongue*

So anyways….that is that. Here I sit at home with occasional contractions, but nothing painful. Nothing any different from what I’ve been feeling lately. The baby is so active today….poking and pushing and stretching. Then again, she always is…lol! When will she decide to make her grand entrance into the world? I wonder….
