Happy Memorial Day!

I hope everyone has had a great extended weekend! We’ve had great weather up until today, which is pretty cool outside. It hasn’t even reached 60 today. Grrrr!!! It’s a little bit windy, too. *hmm*

We went out earlier and had lunch at Famous Dave’s BBQ, then did a little shopping. We are trying to find a huge wall clock (with roman numerals) for the wall in our living/dining area, that we just painted.

I am ready to get the room decorated, and finished! We had no luck finding a clock today, though. Kohls has one we like, and it was 50% off the other day. We went to pick it up today, and it was full price again (which is $159.99)! They always have their 50% off sales, so I’ll try back again later. I just don’t want to pay $160.00 for it, when I know I can get it cheaper….know what I mean? *blank*

Anyways, painting that wall, makes me want to take on more painting projects…like maybe painting the adjacent walls a neutral, complimentary color. I can vision Jace just rolling his eyes, now! lol *cheesy*
He doesn’t really like painting. Ha ha!
We still want to do the girls rooms, as well. We have lots of work ahead of us, with having to also finish baseboards and trim in 2 rooms! Phew! *sure* Oh well….such is life.
