Shopping for the home..

Sunday we went over to Slumberland Furniture to look for a new mattress/box spring set for our bed. Right now we have a California King, and it needs to be replaced BIG TIME. It has gotten very uncomfortable, and we’ve decided it’s time to invest in a new set. I say “invest” because mattresses aren’t cheap-especially when you need a king size, and you want a good one! We also heard that Slumberland has the best prices on them around here. Well, that was true! We found a really nice pillow top Beauty Rest and ordered it for delivery, next Tuesday. *face* We are so excited…lol! *blush* Ok, so while we were there we looked around at some couches and loveseats for the living room. Right now we have a futon up there, and really need something for that area…so we can ditch that futon..lol! Not too long ago, we bought a nice armoire for the living area, and we really want to complete that room. Long story short….we found a nice set at Slumberland for a great deal! Buy the couch, get the loveseat for FREE! Yippee! It was a nice set, too, and the color we wanted all along. We are really excited! Here are a couple of pics.

They are microfiber couches, just like what we have in our family room (just a different color, and a different style)…so they are easy to keep clean. So we are excited to have found some good deals and can’t wait till they arrive. *wink*

Oh, I have to share this pic! This is Jacey fast asleep on one of the beds at the furniture store…LOL!

When we got there, she was already asleep, so Jace carried her in. We thought she would wake up, but when she didn’t, he lay her down on one of the beds while we looked in that area. Convenient, huh? Hehee! *tongue*

Beds are expensive thats for sure. We spent a TON on ours and its only a Queen. We were sooo desparate though. Dustin was sleeping on the couch and I was sleeping in the bed sideways just so we could sleep. The bed we have now is heavenly, I had forgotten how good sleep could be when your body wasn’t hurting. . . LOL

So happy for you guys.

Love the sofa set too.
