Yaz Commercial
We have a commercial that comes on here from a law office that got my attention. It says “If you or someone you know has experienced a blood clot, stroke, etc.. using YAZ, please call our law offices.” [In so many words]. That really got me to thinking! I no longer use YAZ for many reasons. I had some bad side effects with it. The biggest two: I had sharp chest pains that stopped completely when I stopped taking it. I also was extremely exhausted taking YAZ. I would take it in the morning, and by 2 pm, I was completely drained! I am so glad that I stopped taking it, because if they are making these commercials [paid or not], it means that there ARE problems with this pill. Do you know of anyone who takes this pill and has experienced problems?

I had problems with it. Really bad headaches (sometimes migraine level) and fatigue. I have PCOS, which also causes fatigue, so the last thing I needed was more fatigue.

I told you my symptoms awhile back, but I am not surprised about this. In fact I believe the fine print on most birth control pills contains a warning about blood clots and stroke. Yaz is bad news though, I am glad you (and me) don’t take it anymore!

I had a roommate that was in the hospital with blood clots within 3 days of taking the first pill. I don’t think I could ever trust Yaz after that.

The birth control pill. Yaz, has been linked to life-threatening side effects such as strokes, blood clots, and heart attacks. Since 2004, at least 50 deaths have been reported in women taking Yaz and contraceptives made with similar ingredients.
