A fun project!

These are just a few of the salt dough ornaments we made. I tried a new “microwave” recipe this year-which was way quicker! Although I have to say that the ornaments puffed up just a little bit-instead of remaining completely flat. It wasn’t THAT big of a deal–we had fun!

We made a lot more than is shown here-the recipe made a ton! lol
Jacey also painted over the hole on some of the ornaments, but we got them to work, hehe~
It was a really fun project! We have done this every year since Jacey was born. She loves making them! Jadyn also did her own ornament as well, but hers is colored with markers and crayons. I was a little leary about letting her have at the acrylic paint…LOL!

and cares for me today!
Isn’t that cute!? It’s really cute also because they do “motions” with each verse. I had just walked in right before she was to say it, and was kinda worried that she would be too shy…but she wasn’t! She did a great job!
Anyways, on Monday it is Jacey’s turn to bring the snacks for the day at preschool. I think we are going to make some Christmas cookies on Sunday for her to take on Monday-along with some juice. We usually do healthy snacks, but I think this will be a fun treat for the kids! While Jacey was in preschool, Jadyn & I went over to Michaels Crafts and picked up cookie icings and glitters. I can [...]
