A 90th Birthday!

This past Saturday we traveled to Willow Lake, S.D. to visit Jace’s parents and to also celebrate his grandmother’s 90th Birthday. A party was thrown for her at her church on Sunday afternoon, with all of her friends and most of her family present. It was a great time! She was so excited to have her friends & family there, and we were also glad to be a part of her special day. 90 years old! Isn’t that awesome?! Here’s a photo, A great memento of that day…..

Celebrating a 39th Birthday–The Hubs

We celebrated my hubby’s 39th Birthday yesterday [September 3rd]! His parents came down to visit us for the weekend, and we grilled and enjoyed steaks. Jace’s mom made his favorite cake—Twinkie Cake! [yummy!] Later in the afternoon, we went to Tutti Frutti and enjoyed some frozen yogurt. Jace’s was free because it was his Birthday! [I love free! LOL!] It was a fun day. Another year gone by for Jace…hehe!
Happy 39th Jace!!

Happy Birthday, Jacey!

Today my first-born daughter turned 6 years old! I can’t believe she is growing up so fast. I love her with all of my heart–my little mini-me! She is so smart, very funny, a drama-queen, a very careful child, and very girly! She has so many different facets to her personality. I am so lucky to have her in my life!!!

She has grown and changed so much! From a bald little baby with chubby cheeks, to a tall girl with long, beautiful curls! I love you, Jacey! (our little pookie!)

The Party: A Success!

Jacey’s 6th Birthday party was last Friday. We had it at Games to Go this year. Games to Go is a fun place that has the bouncy houses, velcro wall, slides and more. They also have a party room. We thought it would be the perfect place to have Jacey’s party. That way, her friends could all run around and go wild (lol), and have cake, then play more, etc… It turned out to be a great party! The kids all loved it! Here are just a few pics from that day:

Jacey blowing out her 6 candles!

She had 2 cakes! A unicorn cake and a rainbow cake!

These were made by myself and my mother-in-law. (She did the unicorn, and I did the rainbow).
Jacey loved her cakes and her party. She was so thrilled to have friends from church, school, and neighborhood friends there. They all had a blast. Her party turned out so cute-and she was very happy with it! (L)
THAT makes me happy!
There are tons of pics on Flickr as well. You must be a friend/family (and logged in) on Flickr to view them all. (Most are private).

Today is party day!

Today has come. The day I have been planning for. Jacey’s 6th Birthday Party!
She is so excited about today! Last night my mother-in-law, Janet & I were up late making Jacey’s cakes. I did a rainbow cake and Janet did a unicorn cake. Jacey is going to be SO excited when she sees her cakes! They turned out super cute!
I will post photos later on today after the party!
