Year’s first snowman!

Actually, this is the first snowman of the winter. Our snow has been scarce this winter, which is really weird for North Dakota. Usually we have feet upon feet by now. Oh well!
We had enough to make this snowman, and it was really fun! Jace added hair and a mustache…LOL!

The temp was perfect. It was around 34 degrees. [Notice Jadyn is in her pajama pants? LOL!] The girls had a blast! We all also chased each other around throwing snowballs at each other.
Afterwards, we came in and had hot chocolate with marshmallows! It was a super-fun day!

[Fun] Holiday Photo!

Oh, this is just one of many…LOL! We went a little bit nutty posing for pictures…haha! (This was on Christmas Eve.)
I hope you all had a great Christmas. We spent ours at home this year. It was relaxing & fun. We stayed in pajamas all day long! Days like that are great!
The New Year is upon us. Everyone have a safe New Year’s Eve and a fabulous new year. God Bless each & every one of you! xoxo

Jadyn’s Preschool Christmas Program

“THE GREATEST GIFT”
Thursday was Jadyn’s last day of preschool for the Christmas holidays. She goes back in January like all of the other school kids in elementary/middle/high school. It was also the day of her Christmas program. It was at 11:15 a.m., and Jace & I went. Since it was obviously in the morning, Jacey couldn’t go due to her being in school herself.
It was a really cute program. The kids sang songs and and had a few short lines about JESUS, God’s greatest gift to us. They did terrific. Jadyn looked so adorable in her cute little outfit, singing her heart out! Here are a few pics:

I’m so proud of Jadyn. She sang and swayed back & forth to the music, and knew all of the words! She did a wonderful job!
There are many more pics on Flickr-as always!

Gather at The Manger

This year the church Christmas program was called “Gather at the Manger”. My hubby, Jace was the narrator, and both my girls were in it. It was a nice program, and everyone did great. My girls looked so pretty! Here’s a pic before the program:

An during….
Jadyn and the other preschoolers sang ‘Away in a Manger”.

Jacey was a shepherd and sang several songs.

Jacey can be shy at times, but she sang every song-and did a great job! Both my girls did!
Oh, here’s a pic of the hubby in suit & tie!
This was after the program:

Afterwards, everybody enjoyed food together in the gym and exchanged Christmas cards. I probably wrote over 75 cards…LOL! I don’t remember exactly how many, but it was for everyone in the church directory. Phew….my hand was TIRED after that…haha!
There are lots more photos on my Flickr site (for members with F&F status). =)

The Nutcracker

This past Friday was a very exciting time for Jacey & I. We went to see a performance of “The Nutcracker” at NDSU, performed by the students at The Bonnie Haney School of Dance. Jacey & I have always loved The Nutcracker, and all of the wonderful music that comes with it. It was such a fun time. In total, the show was 2 hours long. There was a part 1, a small holiday show in the middle, and the last part (part 2). The holiday show consisted of all sorts of dance, like Irish dancing, ballet, tap dancing, baton twirling & more. It was fun to watch!
Another exciting thing was that a friend of Jacey’s from church was in The Nutcracker, and she did a beautiful job. It was fun to watch her on stage.
I took a few pictures, but not as many as I would have liked. There was supposed to be no pictures or video taken, and yes I broke the rules….oops. I just wanted to have a few pics as a reminder of the show and our fun time together.
Here’s a couple!

I am so glad we went. Those kids did an amazing job! The [...]
