Road trip to Savannah, Georgia!

Well let me start off by saying we had a GREAT time on our little vacation! It was awesome seeing everyone after so many years have passed. My mother & father are doing good, despite health problems. It was SO good to see them again. It was my girls’ first time meeting their grandparents. It was such a special time!

The drive there was long yes, but it was very exciting! Seeing all of the states and different things was fun. The girls did great, too! There was only one instance where Jacey was tired and couldn’t get comfy to sleep. That was when we split our trip up and stayed the night in a hotel. Ok, let me change that to MOTEL…lol! Was NOT a fan of the place, but it was 11:30 at night and we HAD to stop. It wasn’t a slum, but just not the greatest. :/
We slept, got up in the morning, had breakfast & was back at it. We arrived in Savannah, Georgia that evening at around 10:30-11:00 pm. So that was the drive there. The time we spent there was great. It also helped that we had a great hotel to stay in..lol. We had a nice little suite with separate bedrooms & bathrooms, a living area & kitchen. It was nice!

I’ll share a few pics from our stay! We were there for 5 days. :)

The beach. Oh how I’ve missed the ocean. It was Jadyn’s 1st time seeing the ocean (in person), and it was LIKE the 1st time for Jacey. She saw it in California when we lived there, but was too young to remember. The girls LOVED it so much!!

ROAD TRIP TO GEORGIA

The first time we went, it was really windy! The 2nd time that we went, it was perfect out! The girls’ cousins went too, and they had a blast!

ROAD TRIP TO GA 2012

I have many more photos to share & will in another post (or two)! I have a little one with a cold and she wants to snuggle with mommy. More later!

What’s new….

Well, there is LOTS new, I just have to be able to sit down & type it! I haven’t updated in awhile, but after our trip there was lots of catching up on other things, and then just being normally busy…excuses, right!? ;) I will sit down soon & update my blog. I feel overwhelmed right now…lol! Gonna catch up on lots, so stay tuned! :)

FYI

In exciting news today, I left my camera’s usb cord at home and cannot take photos & videos off of my camera right now! BOO! Jace’s doesn’t fit, either. At least I have a super huge memory card and it can hold lots more…lol! :D

I guess I will be sharing later on.

A few vacation photos!

At the hotel, about to have dinner! [Monday's Dinner]
First “hotel” dinner…they offered great (free) food. It was all very yummy! :D

Caesar Salad with chicken & roast beef

Tomato Bisque Soup

They even offered wine, but I had to have my sweet tea! :)
