Today at preschool…

At preschool-Jacey learns so many different things. Every day, they have a bible lesson-along with the regular lessons. Today she learned about the walls of Jericho. She also learned all about the different types of apples, and even got to try 3 different varieties. She said that the yellow apples were her favorite! She also learned about the letter “E”.
I will try and update every day, the things that she learns at preschool. I may get behind, but I’ll do my best to keep up!

Preschool Days & Snow

Today in preschool-they had a special guest to help decorate pumpkins. The guest brought pumpkins with him to give to the kids-fully decorated (painted), and some to decorate with the kids. Jacey really liked it a lot! When I went to pick her up, I had my hands full with Jadyn, 2 pumpkins, Jacey’s papers in her folders and some candy treats that one of the parents brought for all of the kids…LOL! Oh, and did I mention it was snowing out & windy? Luckily, it’s wasn’t a far walk to our SUV at all.
Yes, today we got a bit of snow. It wasn’t so bad, it was kinda neat actually. The girls really like it!
It didn’t stick….it was too warm, but it came down pretty good for awhile.

Parent/Teacher Conference at Preschool

Last Tuesday we went to our conference with Mrs. Elseth. She is Jacey’s preschool teacher.
Of course we heard all good things about our Jacey. How much she loves the activities they do….how well she is behaved, and so on…. We were very pleased of course!
Jacey really loves preschool. Waking up in the morning is another story (lol), but she is very happy to go to preschool to learn & play. She gets so much out of it!
This coming Saturday they are hosting a Harvest Festival there at the church, and it should be fun! Jacey will wear her costume, as will Jadyn….and we will all eat, play games & more. We can hardly wait!
I’ll post about that this weekend.

Family Updates

Jacey has been doing wonderfully in preschool. =] She has made many friends-and has the best time learning new things and doing art projects. At the end of her day ( which is 11:30 a.m. for her), they are singing songs and dancing around. She loves learning new songs…and when she sees me, she smiles SO big! It’s so good to see her enjoy it so much! This week they are learning about Noah & The ark!
Last Saturday we went to the West Fest Parade. Jacey’s school had a float in the parade, too! It was a lot of fun-but it was SO HOT outside. Afterward, we cooled off with some ice cream at Dairy Queen. LOL!
Today Jadyn had her 18 month well check. She is still going strong at 95th percentile for height (33.5 inches tall). She is at 75th percentile for weight. (25 lbs 12 oz.) She’s a tall girl! =] She got 4 shots-which she did NOT like-but she did okay–only crying for about a minute. She really impressed her doctor with her talking. She’s quite a talker, and loves to learn. He was also impressed when I told him that she can [...]

Field Trip

Today wasn’t Jacey’s regular day for preschool. (She goes Mon, Wed, and Fri.)..but they were going on a field trip today-and she didn’t want to miss it! =] They were taking a trip to the local fire dept…which was walking distance from the church/school. They will talk to firefighters and learn about their jobs, and of course see the fire trucks! Sounds like fun, right!? She was very excited!
