This week I wanted to post a few things that my girls have made. All having to do with Thanksgiving & being thankful.

Jadyn made this in Sunday School, and it says:
“I am Thankful to the Lord” and the little circle sticker says “for my family”…

I love things like this that my girls’ make. They are so sweet! More to come soon!

We will be having Thanksgiving at home this year. Brian will be over-so it will be just the 5 of us. :) I plan on making my favorite green bean casserole! YUMMY! (Along with many other dishes). Brian’s request was Macaroni & Cheese…so I’m making a new Paula Deen recipe.;)
Jace’s favorite is pecan pie! He first had it at my parents years ago-and now it’s his favorite pie!
Today the girls & I have to go out and pick up a few ingredients, so I better get going!

On Friday, Jace & I went shopping at a few stores, and found a few great deals. We weren’t one of those people that got up at 4 am, we stretched it a bit, and left the house around 6:45…lol. My hubby is NOT a morning guy, hehee.

I think today is the day to put our tree up! Yay! In the past, we put it up the day after Thanksgiving, but with family here, and being so busy, we didn’t this year. I’m excited and can’t wait to get the holiday decorations out! Oh, what fun it will be!! :D

Get groceries for the week, including Thanksgiving shopping as well. This year we are having Thanksgiving at our house…so I want to be prepared! I am hoping this yucky cold I have come down with is gone VERY soon…it is rather annoying. I guess it’s not as bad as it could be though….
